Clinical policy – terms and conditions of service: (read)
All appointments and fees are solely patient’s responsibility as a condition of service.
Your appointment is a reserved time period.
It is your responsibility to remember your appointments and arrive on time,
or otherwise provide adequate notice if unable to attend*. So, someone else can use that time.
Communications are paramount.
Make note of your appointment at time of booking!
Appointment Confirmation if email provided.
Unfortunately, email and or text messaging are not infallible**.
Please report if you do not receive your confirmation email or text at time of booking.
Important to note for first appointments contained in about reminder message.
The system may provide a 72-hour notification before appointment.
This is only as a "courtesy", as email and or text messaging is not infallible.
Do not reply to appointment notifications: I will not get your reply. Call me!
** Notifications by email or text: the clinic does not assume any patient responsibility for punctuality.
Changing, re-booking and cancelling appointments:
You can change or cancel appointments online before 48-hours prior to the appointment.
Within the 48-hours you must call the clinic, and communicate your reason.
Note late cancellation policy - at RMT's discretion.
Lateness and No Shows:
The RMT can not make up time for lateness. If you are just late, call so you may still use your unused portion of time.
Furthermore, if late more than 15 minutes without notification is considered a “no show” and a no-show fee will be applied.
It is your responsibility to provide reason.

Massage therapy appointments includes: administration, assessment, evaluation, treatment, and education and or home-care.
1) First appointments: Patient-pay at appointment.
Cash, cheque or etransfer accepted. A receipt will be issue once payment made.
Currently, no debit or credit card services.
2) Insurance qualification: bring card(s)
Bring your insurance benefit card(s), provide information and sign consent form(s).

- Call if you are having difficulties with managing your appointment(s).
- 60- or 45-minute appointments at $115.50 or $94.50 includes GST, respectively.
- Please add an appointment message, if booking is for someone else.
- In accordance with Regulations, mature minors may book massage appointments.
- All appointments include: administration, assessment, evaluation, treatment, and education and or home-care.
- First appointments (see below for more details) should be prepared to make payment day of appointment*.
- I currently accept cash, cheque or e-Transfer only.
- "Insurance Qualified?" see insurance information page
- Fees such as deductibles, and insurances coverage (equal to or less than 100%) leaving patient balance owing.
- If a balance is due, you will get a notification by email/text/phone (I do not issue invoices).
- Balances must be paid as soon as possible. (Only zero balance accounts maintain booking privileges)
- Only patient pay, zero-balance accounts are issued a receipt as per regulation. Typically the following day.

- Please arrive only 10 minutes before your appointment, to complete intake forms.
- If the door is locked, you will need to ring doorbell, just to the right edge of sign and left of door.
- Proceed quietly to upstairs and find a seat in the shared voice-hushed area common waiting room.
- I will greet you and we will proceed to the treatment room.
- If you are new patient, some intake forms are required before massage therapy can commence.
- intake form - medical history which we will discuss your treatment goals with your RMT and provide informed consent for treatment.

Registered massage therapy operates as a private business within the Health Care Act.
All regulations of BC Health Care Act, (Regulatory) College of Massage Therapy and other Acts apply.
All Insurers agreements must be followed.
