With limited Clinics and RMT acting as an ICBC Vendors in the Penticton area and currently I have been providing medical massage therapy to persons whom were in motor vehicle accidents. However, ICBC has been changing rules around care. So, you should contact your adjustor beforehand.
ICBC claims:
I do not direct bill ICBC; since I have opted-out (non-ICBC Vendor).
*If my services are rendered. Then only as a patient-pay service.
ICBC Enhanced Care: from the date of your reported "accident" , you're pre-approved for a variety of treatments... up to 12 weeks...without doctor's referral.

- click on Enhance Benefits Guide button, see section 1, pages 3- 4 for medical expenses.
- ICBC now categorizes massage therapy as non-discretionary therapy as per physiotherapy and chiropractic. This means that treatment is automatically approved * for a claimant injured in an MVA
- "Twelve (12) massage therapy sessions provided by a Registered Massage Therapist" are pre-authorized for ICBC customers within the first 12 weeks from date of their crash", (quoted from ICBC Enhance Benefits Guide document), as per 2024 ICBC the initial 12 weeks.
- My booking site has specific bookings for initial "FIRST ICBC" & subsequent "ICBC subsequent" appointments as per 2024 ICBC practitioner fees.
- If you should provide claims information: date, file#, Adjuster's name and contact in order for treatment.
- If further treatments ** beyond the initial "12". Then you require your Adjusters approval.
- ** You will have to request the RMT to completed ICBC form CL751-physical-treatment-plan on your behalf.request the RMT to completed ICBC form CL751-physical-treatment-plan on your behalf; and may need a doctor's prescription too.
- Your clinical record is protected by BC PIPA. And a special consent release form is required to release your information.
- Please note many private Insurance benefits typically do not cover injuries/accidents.
== NO WorkSafeBC Claims or work injuries ==
I have completely opted out of WorkSafeBC or any incident of injury at work that results in a claim.
I can not treat any area deemed injured due to a work-related injury or listed in a WorkSafeBC Claim.
